This came after the #100Shoes4Alex campaign collected over x100 schools shoes from individuals, brands & companies willing to make a difference in less fortunate children's lives.

In the spirit of generosity, and our promise to give back to our local communities, the Hungry Lion Namibia team visited Susanne Grauheim, Oude Rust Oord, and Katutura Old Age Homes on Tuesday, 24 April, to serve deliciously prepared Hungry Lion chicken meals to three hundred residents and staff from these three homes in Namibia.

Hungry Lion HQ staff members challenged each other to raise funds to make Christmas special for children from social welfare organisation, Badisa. With the money raised, more than 200 boxes were filled with educational toys and treats and handed over on World Children's Day, which was celebrated on 20 November.

Hungry Lion HQ treated the women of HerVoice, a Women's Empowerment Organisation in Stellenbosch, to a delicious Sunday lunch with a guest speaker who discussed various topics.

In the spirit of generosity, we hosted Christmas parties for the children of Ethembeni Creche & Safe House (Delft, Western Cape), "Paarl/Franschhoek se kinders" (Western Cape), and Kondwa Orphanage (Lusaka). Hungry Lion also donated non-perishable food, meals & gift bags to these Institutions.

We recently donated lunch for the children of the South African Police Services Rural Sports Coordination. We rewarded the team for successfully completing their sports program. Thumbs up boys!

Hungry Lion partnered with the Kabwata Orphanage in Lusaka to SHARE MORE by building a vegetable garden for the orphanage, in this way providing a sustainable source of food.
